Hotel Petersburg is excited to announce Poetry in Motion, a captivating series of poetry nights hosted in our Boiler Room. These evenings will celebrate creativity and connection, and we invite local poets to share their work in a historic and intimate setting.

Poetry readings will occur on select Friday and Saturday evenings with two seatings per night 7pm-9pm and 9:30pm-11:30pm. Each poet will have 3–5 minutes to perform.

Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by Friday, January 31 to be considered for the next available event.

Selection Process: Our team will review submissions to curate a diverse lineup of voices that align with the spirit of Poetry in Motion. Selected poets will be notified by email or phone to confirm participation.

Additional Information The Boiler Room at Hotel Petersburg offers a speakeasy-style ambiance, complete with velvet sofas, chandeliers, and historic charm. Poets will be performing in an environment steeped in history and elegance, making it the perfect setting to captivate an engaged audience.
